Introducing Mrs Aiavao's ESOL Shining Stars. We have been learning about 'Belonging'. We have participated in cooperative learning tasks - Think-pair share, Our favourite Game - Spell it Quick, Team Mapping, Integrating maths into our daily warm ups - everything is connected to BELONGING! We also made a new friend, Mr Park. He comes from Korea and he is a lifelong learner just like us.

We are so excited to be launching our blog page.

We have 49 ESOL learners in our classroom so far.  

Over the last two weeks we have been building relationships, getting to know eachother and sharing our sense of belonging. 

We are learning about how we can develop a sense of belonging through our life experiences and our connections through people and places. 

We have already discovered that we have many similar connections with one another.  

Groups have enjoyed participating in fun hands-on learning and cooperative team mapping activities, to help us understand more about our own and others belonging.

We look forward to sharing our learning with our global community this year.
