BELONGING STATEMENTS

We have been learning about what it means to have a sense of belonging. Here are some of our statements.

What does belonging mean to us?

Belonging is..

showing your manners and values everyday wherever you go. (Senio)

you belong to your family and your country. (Yohana)

my family, my school, Room 17 and my country. (Rickson)

being myself and belonging to my family. (Elenisi)

who I am, like my family, my church and my class. (Fa'amoimoi)

my language and culture. (Peter)

  1. I finished all my work I fill like I belonging at ESOL SHINING STAR I love being in ESOL because it teach me how to speak English and I love my team
    and I am in team 1 and I like being in team 1 and I like to speak English . Perenise

  2. I think that belonging is family and friends. My friends are Rosetta and Renee and Hope. My family, my mum and my dad, Sarah, Josue and me. I have 2 little sisters in Congo. - Josette
