The Icky Sticky Anteater

Narrative Retell

One day there was an icky sticky frog.  He was down by the lake.  He looked at the fly and WOOP!  Out came his tongue aiming at the fly.  Slurp!  The fly was gone.

The frog was looking at the beetle crawling down the tree.  WOOP!  Out came his tongue.  Slurp!  The beetle was gone.

Shhhh!  Frog didn’t make a sound.

He just looked at the grasshopper hopping by.  WOOP!  Out came his tongue.  Slurp!  The grasshopper was gone. 

The frog saw a beautiful butterly.  WOOP!  Out came his tongue and GULP!  The frog was gone!

…. He was eaten by a fish!
