The Icky Sticky Anteater

Narrative Retell

One beautiful bright day an anteater lived in a forest.  He preferred berries, plants and honey.  He was kind.

One day his family forced him to eat ants. So the other anteaters said, “EAT THEM YOU MUST!”  So he went to look for ants. 

He saw a hole.  “Zip!” and out came a mole.  He found another hole.  “Zip!”  and out came a snake. 

He found another hole and out came a rabbit.  He found something on his tongue.  It was an ant.  Phoo!  “I am not going to eat this,” said the anteater. 

So that night they had a party.
